Radio Times Publish 'London As Venice' Image

GMJ’s ‘Aerial View of Flooded London’ is featured in the 28th November issue of the Radio Times magazine.

London becomes the new Venice but where the city of the gondola accommodates the water it sits in, London has become uninhabitable, as every year the Thames Barrier is overwhelmed by spring tides.

The image uses London CityModel technology to accurately calculate a 7.2 metre flood level – representing the level of water necessary to breach the Thames barrier.

The aerial photography is by Jason Hawkes.
